{In light of our conversation around setting sacrifices, a partial repost today to encourage.  I’m grateful to reunite with my kiddos and husband after a fabulous time in Tennessee!  Today I set aside the work, and focus on them.}

Whether we stay-at-home, work-at-home or some other combination…

in all we attempt, in all we choose as Moms,

However God leads, whatever paths and journeys He allows…

Remember to choose the kids.

This looks different for us all, so I don’t think boundary lines are clearly drawn exactly the same — but we know.  

We know when our sacrifices are too great, the cost too high, the needs unmet.

Whether our children are little, teens or even in their grown-up years...I think they need our support in some way.  And for a moment or maybe for a season, we must pause the work and choose them instead.

So today, offer a practical demonstration of this support — this love you have for them.  Your commitment to their well-being.

Regardless of age, we all could use a dose of affirmation.  We all need grace.

Choose the kids today.
