I’ve been thinking lately how we often get stuck…
beginning with goals set, vision clear, path straight. We’re enthusiastic, filled with dreams, filled with hope.
Then…
we face difficulty, hardship, a bump in the road. It’s inevitable really, for BIG audacious goals will always require BIG audacious Faith. Tenacity. Perseverance.
In that moment, in that space of time where we contemplate giving up and turning back,
is the EXACT moment we need to grab hold of something BIGGER than ourselves and move on. Where we realize our reality is essentially tied into God’s sovereignty and He knows.
He sees the struggle, the bump, the difficulty. The why we just-don’t-think-I-can-do-this-anymore cry for help. In this moment, our struggle is not a spectator sport for our God.
He rushes in. In actuality, He was already there.
FAITH, perseverance, HOPE offered to us on a platter of GRACE directly from His heart to ours. He will help us to move on, to keep going, to keep our eyes on the prize.
He too is very interested in us finishing the race well, crossing the finish line in completion.
So, if you sit today with BIG dreams, BIG hopes, BIG vision — here’s gentle encouragement:
Don’t sit. MOVE.
